#SLSTOGETHERWECAN is a student-led, prevention-based leadership contest that began during the 2021-2022 school year. Students from schools across Michigan joined us virtually to learn about health and safety topics from their peers. Then they identified a need in their school and created a project to address that need. Many participants were also active members of our SLS and STAND student-led programs.
Arabella, from Mason Middle School, created a poster and pamphlet about Distracted Driving
Eric and Jocelyn, from Freeland High School created a video presentation about how to have healthy relationships with peers, friends and family. They also created a T-shirt for students to wear during their spirit week.
Addison from Pierce Middle School, created a poster board about mental health to share with her peers.
Ifechukwu from Taylor High School, create a plan on how to be responsible on social media.
Marvin, Marion High School created a song, survey, presentation, and book marks for students.
